What does SWAT mean?
Our name stands for Separate Waste And Transport. Our unique crane that is used for loading and unloading allows us to collect full bins and drop another at the same time, holding up to 3 bins at a time! SWAT Bins is about efficiency and budget friendly when it comes to disposing of your waste.
Do I require a permit from the council to have this on the street?
For most jobs, the answer’s no.
Our compact 2m³ and 3m³ crane-delivered bins can be placed directly on your property—in your yard, driveway, or even the backyard—with zero need for council approval. That means no waiting, no paperwork, and no extra fees.
If you’re hiring a 4m³ or 6m³ bin, and it needs to be placed on the street or public land, you may need a council permit. But don’t stress—we’ll help guide you through what’s required and make the process simple.
Wherever possible, we’ll place your bin on private property to help you avoid the permit headache altogether.
Why do people choose SWAT Bins?
The difference between SWAT and other big brands is that we are locally owned and operated. You will never speak to a call centre but directly to us!
So we can ensure that you receive exactly what you need, for the job you’re doing. At SWAT Bins, we also try to consider what savings we can pass on to you when you take on our services.
Most skip services also only allow you 1 week of onsite hire when we offer 2 weeks.
